MontyCloud DAY2 Platform provides the following roles that can be assigned to various users to help managing access and permissions across different levels of the Monty Cloud platform. 


User Role

Can browse catalog of services and request for projects.
Business Admin
This role exists only in the parent tenant and has access to manage all tenants, including the Management Dashboard and CloudOps Dashboard.
  • Owns access to all functionalities to manage business dashboards, tenants and users
  • Owns Cloud admin roles to connect cloud accounts and manage user access and policies
Cloud Admin Role

This role can be assigned to users within a tenant, providing them full administrative access to manage cloud resources.


Owns access to all projects within the organization to carry out tasks, connect cloud accounts, and manage user access and policies

Project Owner

This role is assigned to users within a tenant, giving them ownership and administrative access to specific projects. 


Owns access to the project and manage cloud infrastructure and the authority to modify project access settings and invite new users to join the project.

Project User

This role is assigned to users within a tenant, providing them access to specific projects without administrative privileges.


Owns access manage the cloud infrastructure including deployments, tear downs, resource management within the assigned projects

Reports AccessOwns access to reports for the assigned projects
