Live Coaching in MontyCloud DAY2 refers to the AI-powered guidance feature available during remediation. When addressing a finding, users can activate live coaching to receive explanations about the issue, step-by-step instructions for remediation, and relevant code samples. The Live Coaching offers different modes: a simple mode for non-technical users and a professional mode for technical users, ensuring tailored guidance for various expertise levels.

In the Insights view, each finding has an Actions column with the following two options:

  • Live Coaching (AI-powered recommendations) - Launches Live Coaching 

  • More - Provides two options for the finding - Remediate and Suppress

Using Live Coaching

  1. Select Live Coaching to access AI-generated remediation insights.

  2. The following three response types are based on different user background:

    • Simple: Provides a brief and simple summary of the issue and next steps. This tab describes the issue and remediation steps in very basic terms, suitable for non-technical users or those needing an easy-to-understand summary.

    • Professional: Provides in-depth, technical explanations, long-term recommendations, detailed remediation steps for users with technical or architectural expertise and the remediation steps for AWS Console & CLI

    • Friendly: In-depth executive-level summary with information that impacts the overall business. 

The Live Coaching information can be used to educate non-technical stakeholders or assist technical teams in the remediation process.


Copying the Response

This feature enables a quick implementation of recommended fixes without manually rewriting instructions. Copy the code or remediation steps provided by the AI (Marvin) in the live coaching section and use them directly to fix issues in the AWS environment.
