What Optimization Opportunities does the MontyCloud DAY2 Platform recommend? 
The MontyCloud DAY2™ provides powerful optimization features that enable MSPs to manage their customers’ cloud environments with greater efficiency and insight. As MSPs aim to grow their customer base and deliver measurable value, the platform equips Account Managers with the ability to quickly generate detailed reports, identify cost-saving opportunities, and conduct data-driven negotiations. This not only streamlines cloud operations but also strengthens customer relationships by aligning performance improvements with financial benefits for both parties.
This feature works by analyzing both AWS Cost Optimization Hub data along with custom checks of MontyCloud DAY2 Platform to identify potential savings. Approximately 20 checks from AWS Cost Optimization Hub and three custom checks developed by MontyCloud helps make this feature robust. The recommendations are broadly displayed into the following three categories:
Cost Optimization Overview: This tab provides a chart-based analysis providing recommendation to optimize cost based on a time range, term and payment option across all accounts or a specific account. The chart provides trend of how you can compare your current cost and forecast potential savings information. This tab also lists insights on the year-to-date cost, forecasted cost and yearly potential savings for the selected accounts.
Savings Opportunities: This tab allows MSPs to view potential savings that provides valuable input on to help expand their business by showing customers how much they can save. This is a key feature for MSPs to acquire new customers and grow their existing customer base. This tab displays potential savings based on each service, computes the savings, forecasts savings, displays maximum potential of savings and provides a breakdown of recommendations to save cost.
Reservation Opportunities: This tab displays savings and reservation opportunities for a particular selected service and provides a comprehensive finding of the based on recommendations. This tab enables to compare the term and payment option and its associated forecasted cost and monthly savings potential.
