MontyCloud DAY2 provides MSPs with the ability to delete their Tenants to responsibly dispose of data when customer engagements are ended.

  1. Log in to DAY2 platform.

  2. The Tenant page in the Management Dashboard interface is displayed from where you can manage all your customers tenants.

  3. Under the Actions column in the Tenants page, click the More button to expose and then click the Mark for Deletion button.

  4. The system will check the Tenant for any remaining Accounts, Users, and SSO registrations. You may need to return to the Tenant to offboard any Accounts, delete Users, or delete SSO configurations. It is a required prerequisite that all Accounts, Users, and SSO configurations be removed prior to a Tenant being marked for deletion.

  5. Provide a Reason for deletion in the provided drop-down.

  6. Confirm deletion by typing the name of the Tenant in the box, then click the Mark for Deletion button.

Tenants that have been marked for deletion can be found in the Tenants page under the Marked for Deletion tab. Tenants are retained in this tab for the customer’s visibility, but all customer access is removed during the offboarding process and remaining potentially sensitive data is deleted immediately on being marked for deletion. Tenants that are marked for deletion are not recoverable.
